PUSTAKOPAHAR : The Festival of Book Donation

• As per the directive of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the PUSTAKOPAHAR programme is conducted in all Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country at the commencement of the new session.

• The primary objective of this is to promote environmental conservation, save paper, and protect trees contributing to a clean and green India.

• Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan plays a significant role in this initiative. Under this, all students are encouraged to share their old textbooks with their juniors.

• Each year, this old textbook donation campaign receives an excellent response from both parents and students.

• Please refrain from purchasing textbooks for classes 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 at present, as for these classes have been revised this year. Wait until the new books are available.

• Students are requested to wrap their old textbooks in one packet and clearly write their name and class on it.
